Sara is passionate about helping patients restore movement, reduce pain, and return to the activities they love. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from Virginia Tech in 2006, majoring in Pre-Med with a minor in Spanish, and went on to receive her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the Medical University of South Carolina in 2011.
Since 2014, Sara has been certified in dry needling through Myopain Seminars, which she integrates into patient care alongside evidence-based therapeutic exercise and manual therapy techniques. She takes pride in creating personalized treatment plans that address the root cause of pain and empower her patients to achieve long-term results.
Outside of the clinic, Sara enjoys strength training, pilates, and spending time with her family at Smith Mountain Lake. She is actively involved in her church and finds encouragement in her favorite verse, John 15:4–5. “Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.”
Sara looks forward to partnering with you on your journey toward healing, strength, and restored movement.
